Days after Kangana Ranaut slammed Karan Johar in his popular talk show ‘Koffee with Karan’, the filmmaker reacted to her allegations on nepotism during a recent interview at the London School of Economics. The director, who kept mum during his show, showed no qualms in sharing his opinion on being called the ‘flag bearer of nepotism’ in Bollywood.
Johar who accused Ranaut of “playing the woman and victim card" also said the actress should leave the industry. “I am done! You cannot be this victim at every given point of time who has a sad story to tell about how you’ve been terrorised by the bad world of the industry… leave it,” he said.
'She deserves all the national awards, but I'm done with Kangana playing the victim card...' @karanjohar #KaranJohar pic.twitter.com/85SyK1EZr0— Neha Bhatt (@iAmNehaBhatt) March 5, 2017
From being sarcastic about Ranaut’s interpretation of ‘nepotism’ to mocking her for sharing her views on the hypocrisy in the industry, Johar showed no inhibitions in tossing a few taunts at her.
Johar slamming Ranaut for her fiery statements on the show has left Twitterati shocked. Many used the social media platform to vent their ire.
