Saiyami Kher, the actress known for her role in the film Ghoomer, has achieved an exemplary feat. She has reached a big milestone by finishing the Ironman 70.3 race in Germany. She is now the first Indian female actress to complete the gruelling race, which comprises a 1.9-kilometer swim, 90-kilometer cycle and a 21.1-kilometre run. Congratulations are in order for the young actress who is surely an inspiration for many.
Among others, Tillotama Shome also appreciated Saiyami Kher for the achievement. The actress replied to Saiyami’s post related to the win and stated, “Many many congratulations Saiyami!!! This is awesome and inspiring.” Earlier, actor Adil Hussain congratulated Saiyami Kher saying, “Big congratulations to you Saiyami Kher for this huge accomplishment. She is not only the only Indian Actors but also very few Indians Male or Female who have accomplished this feat.”

On the other hand, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap also shared the news on his Instagram handle and wrote, “Finally Saiyami. A long-held dream realised with all your hard work and determination. You inspire me to be a better version of myself. Kudos.”
Reportedly, the Ironman 70.3, often known as the Half Ironman, is widely regarded as one of the most difficult endurance races in the world. Despite the event’s hard demands, Saiyami Kher was able to cross the finish line, adding to her achievement.
Sharing about her journey in this difficult race, the actress noted, “Crossing the finish line of the Ironman 70.3 and getting that medal has to be one of the proudest moments of my life. This has been on my bucket list forever, and I am just so happy I finally did it! Training for an Ironman while juggling 12 to 14-hour shooting was tough. There were days when motivation was nowhere to be found, and it really felt like a battle with myself,” as quoted by India Today.
On the professional front, Saiyami appeared in Ghoomer opposite Abhishek Bachchan and Angad Bedi last year. She was also seen in Sharmaji Ki Beti alongside Sakshi Tanwar, Divya Dutta, Vanshika Taparia, Arista Mehta, Sharib Hashmi and Parvin Dabas. The actress will also be seen opposite Sunny Deol in the tentatively titled project SDGM, helmed by Gopichand Malineni.
