Actress Taapsee Pannu, wo has multiple projects in the pipeline, took to Instagram to announce the wrap of her upcoming film Dobaara. She also teased about collaborating again with director Anurag Kashyap. Taapsee had previously worked with him in Manmarziyaan, and her film Saand Ki Aankh was produced by him.
Sharing a picture with Anurag, she wrote, “23 days of pure honest energy on set and it’s a wrap! #Dobaaraa And on that parting note a bet is placed, the content of that bet shall be disclosed later but for now just know if I win, he will have to do another film with me of my choice and if he wins, in the next movie we do together, I shall not argue with him on set. Point being, nevertheless, u shall see us together once again.”
Anurag and Taapsee had announced the film on February 12 with an interesting video. It saw Taapsee reading several scripts and the filmmaker appearing on her TV screen at 2:12 A.M. to reveal the project.
Taapsee had also previously posted a picture with the director from the sets of the film. “My #DobaaraaSeries Coz some collaborations deserve to be repeated. Ready to create more memories because we were running out of Manmarziyaan stories to tell,” she wrote.
On the work front, Taapsee will be next seen in Loop Lapeta, the remake of Run Lola Run with Tahir Raj Bhasin. She will also be seen in the thriller Haseen Dillruba, which will release on Netflix, with Vikrant Massey. On the other hand, she will essay Indian cricketer Mithali Raj in her biopic Shaabash Mithu. Taapsee will also play a track athlete in Rashmi Rocket. The films are all slated to release in 2021.
