Taapsee Pannu Perfects Her Cricket Skills with Nooshin Al Khadeer as She Prepares for Shabaash Mithu

Taapsee Pannu is a busy bee as she continues hershooting spree and from recent images that have surfaced online, it is for sure that the actor is working hard to get into her character. Tapseewho will be seen in the upcoming movie Shabaash Mithu,a biopic on cricketer Mithali Raj, was seen perfecting her cricketing stance as she trained.

The 33-year-old actor was seen working on cricketing skills with Indian cricketer Nooshin Al Khadeer. The pictures posted by ETimes showed Taapsee focusing on her batting technique as Nooshin guided her. In another picture the actor was seen having a light moment with the 40-year-old cricketer.

The biopic on women’s cricket team captain Mithali Raj is being directed by Rahul Dholakia. Taapsee announced her project on Mithali Raj’s birthday in 2019 when she tweeted pictures with the cricketer and wished her a happy birthday. Taapsee promised Mithali that she will give it all to make sure that she will be proud of what she sees of herself on screen with Shabaash Mithu.

Taapsee recently wrapped the shooting for her another movie Looop Lapeta. The movie is a modern day take on the 90s German movie Run Lola Run. The movie is a comedy thriller where Taapsee is in a race against time as she tries to save her boyfriend.

In an earlier Instagram post the actor had introduced her character as she posted her picture and wrote that there comes a time in life when you ask yourself how you ended up here and she was also thinking the same. Taapsee’s character’s name is Savi and she romances actor Tahir Raj Bhasin who plays her boyfriend. Directed by ad filmmaker Aakash Bhatia, Looop Lapeta will be released in theatres this year.

Before Loop Lapeta, Taapsee also wrapped the shooting for another sports biopic titled Rashmi Rocket earlier this year. The actress is also working with her Manmarziyaan director Anurag Kashyap for his upcoming sci-fi movie titled Dobaaraa.
