Huma Qureshi has shared an unseen photo from Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s wedding ceremony. In the photo, Sonakshi and Zaheer could be seen holding each other close after their civil marriage ceremony. The couple looked dreamy in their white attire, surrounded by white and pink flowers.

Sonakshi Sinha married longtime boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal in a private ceremony at her Bandra apartment in Mumbai on Sunday. After the civil marriage, the newlyweds hosted a grand reception at Bastian, Dadar. The star-studded reception was attended by several big names like Salman Khan, Kajol, Rekha, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Aditi Rao Hydari and Huma Qureshi among others.

Huma was the epitome of beauty, dressed in a gorgeous white saree and jacket with exquisite white embroidery. She accessorised perfectly, with multiple rings and a stunning pair of diamond earrings that gave her ensemble the perfect amount of glitz.

Despite the happy union, Sonakshi Sinha has been facing immense trolling for her inter-faith marriage with Zaheer. The newlyweds have even switched off comments on their wedding photos on Instagram to avoid unwarranted hate during their special occasion.

Amid this, Sonakshi’s dad and actor-turned-politician, Shatrughan Sinha, reacted to her civil marriage. When asked how he was feeling on the day of his daughter’s wedding, Shatrughan told Times Now, “Yeh bhi koi poochne ki baat hai? Every father waits for this moment when his daughter is given to her chosen groom. My daughter looks most happy with Zaheer. Unki jodi salamat rahe,” he said Shatrughan continued, “44 years ago, Shatrughan Sinha married a very successful, very beautiful, very talented girl of his choice, Poonam Sinha. Now it is Sonakshi’s turn to marry the boy of her choice.”
