Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat is doing exceptionally well at the box office and has already collected over Rs 165 crore. The film has also earned acclaim for its cast members Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor.
From Amitabh Bachchan, Karan Johar to Alia Bhatt, almost every Bollywood celebrity is in awe of the film, which is based on the 16th-century epic, "Padmavat" by poet Malik Muhammad Jayasi.
In fact, Bachchan was impressed by the film, so much so that he sent bouquets and appreciation notes to Ranveer and Deepika following which the duo thanked the veteran actor for the sweet gesture.
Now, Shah Rukh Khan has praised Bhansali's magnum opus and said that Ranveer is now Delhi Sultan Alauddin Khilji for him. The superstar on Friday treated his fans to a Q&A session, where the Befikre star wrote to him: "Hi bhai! Anxious for you to see ‘Padmaavat'."

Shah Rukh, 52, who is currently busy shooting for Aanand L. Rai's upcoming film Zero, replied: "So sorry did not realise it was you, because now you are Khilji for me. Bahut acchhi picture hai bhai (It is a very good film) I saw it and loved it."
