Shah Rukh Khan is one of the most popular actors in Bollywood. He enjoys a huge fan following and there have been many instances when fans have gone to an extent to show their love for him. Recently, speaking at the World Government Summit 2024 in Dubai, Shah Rukh Khan, who also owns a house in the country, revealed who is his neighbour and also promised that he will be having year New Year’s party with him.
Speaking at the event, Shah Rukh Khan said, “No, I spend a lot of time here. I have a beautiful house which has been given to me by Nakhil. And it’s one of the nicest places in the world because nobody troubles me. And his Excellency the prime minister also just told me that he stays next to it. So the next new year party is with him. He’s a good neighbor, but it’s really nice. I really, really enjoy being in Dubai. I really love being here.”
The actor spoke about many other things also at the event. Shah Rukh Khan also confirmed that he was offered the role of the host in the Oscar-winning film Slumdog Millionaire. Speaking at the event, Shah Rukh said, “Yes, Slumdog was there, now that you mention it. And I spend a lot of time with Mr. Boyle. He’s very sweet. But I was doing Who Wants to be a Millionaire (Kaun Banega Crorepati) on television, successfully at that time. And I just felt in the story that was being told, the guy who was hosting was very mean, in the story that was being told.”
On the work front, the actor was last seen in Dunki with Taapsee Pannu. The film was hit at the box office. Speaking to Raya Abirached, Shah Rukh spoke about his next project and said, “I think I’ll start one in March-April now. Like I’ve been attempting now to do a film which is more age-real to me and play it still as the protagonist and the star of the film.” This has created a lot of excitement among Shah Rukh’s fans.
