Ranvir Shorey Calls Sana Makbul A 'Female Chauvinist': 'Being A Girl Is Not A License To...'
Sana Makbul and Ranvir Shorey’s rivalry was one of the major highlights of Bigg Boss OTT 3.

Sana Makbul had made a strong statement against her Bigg Boss OTT 3 co-contestant Ranvir Shorey, not long back. The actress, who emerged as the winner of the controversial reality show, spoke exclusively to News18 Showsha following her win when she called Ranvir a ‘Male Chauvinist’ and accused him of dominating women.

Ranvir has now responded to Sana’s claim that he is a ‘sexist’ by calling Sana a female chauvinist. In a chat with Siddharth Kannan, he said, “I believe Sana is a female chauvinist. You only get respect when you give it to others. Being a girl is not a license to misbehave and be unapologetic. When she told me something, I gave it back, so now she shouldn’t be crying over me disrespecting her.” He added that in the beginning of the show, they got along well. “Initially, we got along very well, I used to lovingly call her Pookie. I felt terrible about commenting on her lips, but I didn’t know the dog incident. It started on a good note, but later when our fights began she would twist the topic and that caught on,” he said.

Earlier, reacting to Ranvir Shorey’s comment that she did not deserve to win Bigg Boss OTT 3, Sana had told News18, “I do feel that strong-headed women are targeted in our society, especially when men like Ranvir ji are so male chauvinist and narcissistic. Voh chaheinge ke ladkiya unke neeche dab ke rahe (they want women to follow their orders) but the world is changed and you can’t dominate women. Strong women like me are head high”.

Following the announcement of the winner, Ranvir Shorey had also made some shocking comments, suggesting that if contestants are retained in the Bigg Boss house based on their social media following, the makers should simply award the trophy to the one with the most followers, bypassing the competition altogether. “Agar sirf social media following ke basis pe show pe rahenge, toh usse achha yeh hai ke jiski sabse zyada social media following hai usko seedha trophy de do (If staying on the show is only based on one’s social media following, then it’s better to just give the trophy directly to the one with the most followers).”
