Odyssey Jones Fired From WWE Roster Amid Domestic Violence Allegations, According to Reports
According to reports, Jones was removed from WWE TV when domestic violence allegations came to light.

American professional wrestler Odyssey Jones has been reportedly removed from WWE’s current roster. A new report has shed light on what led to the heavyweight wrestling star being abruptly taken off TV programming. Odyssey joined the premier wrestling promotion five years ago but was struck off the company’s official roster hours before the latest Monday Night Raw episode on September 2. With a ton of uncertainty surrounding his future, Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sap has reportedly identified the reason for his removal. Writing on X (formerly Twitter), he wrote, “Odyssey Jones was removed from WWE TV when domestic violence allegations came to light, Fightful has learned.”

After stating that Odyssey Jones was facing allegations of domestic violence, Sean Ross Sap also added that he did not heard of an arrest. He also claimed that no charges were being pressed concerning the situation. “We’ve not heard of an arrest or charges being pressed in relation to the situation. We’ve reached out to WWE for comment as well as clarification on his status. Talent had not been informed of the situation,” he wrote on X.

Wrestling Observer Radio host Dave Meltzer also addressed the situation while noting that Odyssey Jones was likely ‘done’ for WWE. As per SportsKeeda, he said, “I’m relatively certain he’s [Odyssey Jones] done, but it has not been confirmed anywhere. I’ve heard a bunch of stories, but nothing that I would say is confirmed. But it looks like he’s no longer with the company.” Speaking further he discussed how there was no acknowledgement of his removal anywhere and said, “There was no acknowledgement of what they’ve been doing. So, I mean, he’s off. He’s gone. As far as the reasons why, I think that will probably come out.”

Odyssey Jones did not have the best time wrestling for the WWE. Despite being drafted in as early as 2019, Jones did not make an appearance on the brand for over a year. He was eventually retained by the company’s flagship brand Raw during the 2024 Draft. The 30-year-old finally had the opportunity to make his main roster debut on August 5, 2024. In his first appearance, Jones helped Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods fend off The Final Testament.
