Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas got married in 2018, becoming a popular couple in the industry. Their 10-year age gap sparked conversations during their wedding. In a recent interview, Priyanka’s mother, Madhu Chopra, shared her thoughts on the matter. During the interview, Madhu said that she wasn’t bothered by their 10-year age gap.
Madhu said, “Koi farak nehi pada. Admi accha, ladki acchi, both care for each other, that’s all. Nothing (discussion about it). Maine uss nazar se dekha hi nahi. I was so happy, ecstatic. Bolne wale bolte rahe.”
During the interview, Madhu Chopra also shared about meeting Nick Jonas for the first time. She said, “When he came to India and met me, he took me to lunch when Priyanka was not around. Nick asked me what kind of boy I would want for Priyanka. So, I listed all the qualities, and he simply took my hand and said, ‘I am that guy. Can I be that person? I promise that nothing from your list will be left unchecked’.” Madhu Chopra was impressed by his words and grew fond of him instantly.
Priyanka Chopra married Nick Jonas in December 2018 and the couple welcomed their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas via surrogacy in January 2022. PeeCee was speaking to Quint Neon when she was asked how she balances her work and motherhood duties. The actress shared that even she was raised by a working woman and added that it has greatly helped her take care of Malti.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, PeeCee took to her Instagram handle and dropped an adorable video featuring Malti too. In the clip, the mumma-daughter duo was seen taking a flight as they enjoyed some quality time together.
The video began with a glimpse of an aeroplane’s touchdown. It then featured Malti looking out of a window at an airport. The clip also featured Priyanka recording a selfie video as Malti sat next to her, playing. In the caption of her video, the global icon wrote, “Touchdown..The Bluff. With the best travel partner ever.”
