In the now-viral video, Pawan Kalyan’s fans were seen dancing in the theatre around a ‘bonfire’ of sorts made with scraps of paper. They could also be seen cheering and holding signs as they danced to one of the film’s songs. It is unknown if a police complaint has been filed and if any arrests have been made.
However, this is not the first time that Pawan Kalyan’s fans have resorted to vandalism in the name of fanfare. In 2021, the screening of one of his films was stopped mid-way due to a technical error. This angered his fans and they vandalised the theatre. This incident took place in Jogulamba Gadwal, Telangana.
As for Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu, the film was first released in 2012. It was directed by Puri Jagannadh. When the film was first released, it received a lukewarm response from the audience. However, the re-release is being received immensely well. The film was re-released in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on Wednesday, February 7.
Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan will soon be seen in the period drama Hari Hara Veera Mallu with Krish. He also has Ustaad Bhagat Singh with Harish Shankar and OG with Sujeeth in the pipeline.
