Mohit Malik has cemented his position as an actor with impeccable acting skills in the serials Doli Armaano Ki, Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala, etc. He is now all set to take a big leap in his career with the filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor’s upcoming film as well. The Doli Armaano Ki actor is eager to become a part of more projects across television, digital space, and films as well.
He talked about it in an interaction with IANS and said, “It’s all about the content. If the script is compelling, I’m happy to work in television, OTT, or movies. I don’t want to be limited to just one platform. Each one offers a vast audience, and for me, building that connection with viewers is my goal. I want to establish a better connection with the audience, I am open to working on all three mediums.” The actor added that he is thrilled to be venturing into films and connecting with the audience of that genre.
Mohit and Abhishek’s untitled film will feature actors like Rasha Thadani, Aaman Devgan and Diana Penty as well. As per a report in Mirchi Plus, Mohit is going to be seen in a never-before-seen avatar. Currently, there are no details in the public domain about his role.
The Doli Armaano Ki actor is married to former actress and entrepreneur Aditi Shirwaikar. They met on the sets of the serial Banoo Main Teri Dulhann and soon became friends. Both of them were hesitant to express their feelings and it was Mohit who finally gathered the courage to propose marriage to Aditi. She thought it was a prank because it happened on April 1, 2010, and also, because Mohit was known for his pranks.
Aditi Shirwaikar told a leading daily that she waited for a day to let that thought sink in since she knew the kind of guy Mohit Malik was. The entrepreneur, however, realised that the actor was serious about the relationship when he asked her the same question the following day. Therefore, she decided to say yes to the marriage proposal. Mohit and Aditi embraced parenthood with a son Ekbir Malik.
