Telugu actress Niharika Konidela opened up about her approached to life after her divorce from Chaitanya JV. The actress, who announced her separation in 2023, said the ‘cloud has passed’ and is in a better place now. She confessed her focus is on her work. She also hinted that she is open to finding love again but she is not going chase it.
“That cloud has passed; I am focusing on my work for now. I am looking forward to both acting in and producing good films,” Niharika told Great Andhra. When asked if she is searching for love again, Nagendra Babu’s daughter said, “I just want to be happy, be it single or committed. If the time comes…I don’t want to go against nature or go searching for it; if it happens, it happens. My parents also give me space, even if they might want me to find someone, they don’t pressure me.”
Niharika made headlines last year after she got officially divorced from her husband Chaitanya JV. She announced her separation on her Instagram in a statement. “Chaitanya and I have decided to mutually part ways and ask for kindness and sensitivity as we move on.” She thanked her family and friends who have supported her through this difficult time. “Thank you to my family and friends who have been pillars of support,” she wrote.
Niharika and Chaitanya’s wedding was a star-studded affair with family members Chiranjeevi, Allu Arjun and wife Sneha Reddy, Ram Charan and wife Upasana Konidela, Sai Dharam Tej, Sreeja Kalyan in attendance.
Meanwhile, earlier this year, Niharika appeared on Nikhil Vijayendra Simha’s podcast and confessed that she has been divorced for two years now. She added that the divorce has hurt her. Admitting that she ‘cried a lot’ after the split, she said that she has not closed herself from the idea of finding love again.
