Nawazuddin Siddiqui Calls Ex Sunita Rajwar's Claims Over His Memoir 'A Cheap Publicity Stunt'
The actor, who has always kept his romantic relationships away from the media glare, opened up about his affairs with his Miss Lovely co-star Niharika Singh and a National School Drama alumna Sunita Rajwar in his book.

In October, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who has mostly been seen avoiding talking in front of the cameras, made headlines for his scandalous confessions in his biography titled An Ordinary Life: A Memoir. The actor opened up about his alleged affairs with a New Yorker, his Miss Lovely co-star Niharika Singh and a National School Drama alumna Sunita Rajwar.

However, the actor later decided to withdraw the book after receiving severe backlash. While Niharika accused him of "fabricating stories and manipulating a fleeting relationship", Sunita lashed out at him in a lengthy Facebook post, saying his biography is “An Ordinary Life" Of “Extraordinary Lies".

Sunita had even slapped a defamation suit on Nawazuddin and demanded an apology from the actor for manipulating the details of their alleged affair in his memoir.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the Maanjhi actor has now responded to the legal notice through his lawyer and called Rajwar's claims a "cheap publicity stunt". He also added that he was talking about some other Sunita in his memoir.

Calling Nawazuddin a liar, Sunita told Mumbai Mirror, "He himself has given all the evidence in his memoir that says I am the one he is talking about. First, he wrote my name in the book along with National School of Drama, although without the surname, but there was no other Sunita in NSD during our batch. Then he referred to that girl as 'Pahadi Girl', again there was no other girl from the hills, other than me."

In a long Hindi post on her Facebook, Sunita had earlier alleged that she was Nawaz's junior when he was studying films and theatre in NSD and they both knew each other. While, Nawaz, in his book, had claimed that he did not know Sunita during his NSD days and only met her during a play.
