Mahesh Shetty Expresses Gratitude To Team Fighter

Siddharth Anand’s Fighter has created a lot of buzz since its release. The film, which features bold chemistry between the lead characters and breathtaking aerial action sequences, has become a sensation. Fighter is more than just a visual spectacle, thanks to the exemplary performances by each and every cast member. Since its recent theatrical premiere, the film has gotten a raging amount of positive feedback from audiences and critics. Actor Mahesh Shetty, who had a key role in the film, recently expressed his gratitude to the team and shared some rare glimpses with them.

Mahesh Shetty shared pictures with Hrithik Roshan, Karan Singh Grover, Deepika Padukone and many others who put in their hard work to make the superhit film. He wrote, “What a journey this one has been… From exploring real fighter jets & living the airforce life so closely till today, when the love is pouring in from all directions.. I can’t stop being grateful.” The actor further added, “Thank you to the entire team – be it my camera team, co actors, hair & make, designers, production, spot dadas… each & every one of you who made this set such a memorable one for me… Should have had many more people in these pictures above but me being me (introvert & shy as always) always end up regretting later about not clicking enough pictures with everyone… But you all will hold a special place in my heart forever !!!”

Mahesh Shetty played the role of Unni in Fighter. He is a familiar face in the Indian Television Industry and has been part of several films as well. He was seen in critically acclaimed films such as Balkadu, Banjo, Bhuj: The Pride of India. The actor also played key roles in daily soaps such as Pavitra Rishta, Bade Acche Lagte Hain, Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil and others. He has also been part of web series like Inside Edge and Aranyak.

Aside from Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, the film also stars Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Talat Aziz, Pradum Shukla, and Pradum Jaykar in key parts. This was Hrithik and Deepika’s debut collaboration and the movie delivered some stunning action extravaganza unlike anything seen on the big screen before.

Fighter, directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Viacom18 Studios in partnership with Marflix Pictures, embodies the cinematic experience. Fighter released in cinemas on January 25.
