Kareena Kapoor Khan’s love for actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh is known to one and all, as she has openly expressed it on many occasions, and so has Diljit. Following the success of her latest film, Crew, Kareena conducted an “ask me anything” session on Instagram. When asked about her favourite song from the movie, she posted a still from the song “Naina” by Diljit Dosanjh.
Mentioning the song, she wrote, “Diljit girl forever” and tagged him in the post. She also dropped red heart emojis and rainbow emojis. Diljit promptly re-shared it on his Instagram Stories with a halo emoji.
Diljit Dosanjh and Kareena Kapoor Khan have always been a hit together. From Udta Punjab to Good Newwz and now Crew, they’ve impressed the audience with their acting. Udta Punjab was Diljit’s debut in Bollywood, where he starred alongside Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Kareena. Recently, Diljit also shared his experience working with Kareena, praising her warmth and support on set.
During a conversation with YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, the Punjabi singer recalled his first day at Udta Punjab sets and said. “My first day of shoot for a Hindi movie was with Kareena Kapoor (in Udta Punjab). At that time, I was like, ‘I have watched the movies of this actor with whom I am working today.’ So, that was one great moment.”
Apart from their on-screen chemistry, Diljit Dosanjh and Kareena Kapoor also share a strong camaraderie off-screen. During his performance at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding festivities in Gujarat’s Jamnagar, where Rihanna also performed, Diljit had said on stage, “Hogi Rihanna, hogi Beyonce, sadi ta ae he hai, Kareena (There might be Beyonce and there might be Rihanna but we have her).”
Recently, during a live with the singer, Rhea Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, Kareena said, “Everyone knows that I am on this live only for one person and that is for Diljit Dosanjh. I am here for him and I am here to hear his voice.”
