Kanye West and Bianca Censori, once the centre of tabloid headlines for their whirlwind romance and secret marriage, are now reportedly heading towards divorce after less than two years of marriage. The couple, who exchanged vows in December 2022, is said to have hit a serious bump in their relationship, signalling that this chapter of Kanye’s life might be closing sooner than expected. If formalised, this would mark a second divorce for Kanye. He was previously married to Kim Kardashian. Their union officially ended in 2021.
The couple has allegedly shared with their close friends that they split a few weeks ago, as mentioned by TMZ in their report. West, now 47, has reportedly been telling people in his inner circle that he’s preparing to file for divorce from Censori, 29 and move to Tokyo for a fresh start. On the other hand, Bianca has moved to live with her parents in Australia post the split.
Their spokesperson, Milo Yiannopoulos, chose to remain tight-lipped and did not comment on the situation. Moreover, neither Kanye nor Bianca has publicly addressed the rumours, West has been spotted alone on several occasions recently, which only fuels the speculation. Last week, he was seen enjoying a Jamaican restaurant in Tokyo, so much that he visited the place twice in one day and even left his autograph on one of the restaurant’s walls, as per reports. The rapper also made an appearance at a Pro Wrestling Noah event on September 30 in Tokyo amid the rumoured split.
Ye and Censori were last photographed in public on September 19, during a trip to a supermarket with two of West’s children from his previous marriage. The day after, the pair were out shopping in the city, where Censori was seen wearing her signature, barely-there outfits, which sources claim West has been pressuring her to wear, reports Page Six.
Bianca’s lifestyle with the Grammy-winning artist had already sparked concerns from her family last fall, with her loved ones expressing discomfort over Kanye’s ‘controlling nature’ as per Page Six. Their marriage came just a month after Kanye’s high-profile divorce from Kardashian, 43, was finalised, leaving many shocked by the speed with which the rapper moved on.
