The Mumbai crime branch is likely to record Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan’s statement in connection with the case he registered against actor Kangana Ranaut in 2016 for alleged cheating by personation and identity theft, officers aware of the matter said. Hrithik has been summoned on February 27.

As per a report, officials have said that the investigation revealed some 950 emails that were sent to Hrithik from email addresses that included Kangana’s full name, albeit with different numbers added to them. Of these, around 350 are under the scanner.
Meanwhile, reacting to Hrithik being summoned by the crime branch, Kangana called him “a silly ex”. She reacted to a news piece on Twitter that reported Hrithik being summoned by the crime branch on Saturday and said, “Duniya kahan se kahan pahunch gayi magar mera silly ex abhi bhi waheen hai usi modh pe jahan yeh waqt dobara laut ke nahi jane wala (sic).”

Hrithik has accused Kangana of harassing him by sending him hundreds of emails.
