It is worth mentioning here that Jennifer had earlier lost her brother too and had been greiving his demise.
In March, Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal shared the first post on her official Instagram account after “declaring” her victory in a case of sexual harassment against TMKOC producer Asit Kumar Modi. In her post, Jennifer said that Asit Modi has been ordered to clear her outstanding dues and also pay Rs 5 lakh to her as compensation. Jennifer penned a lengthy note on her social media account, thanking her husband Bobby Bansiwal and lawyer Ammitt Share for their constant support. She also shared a video of her making a hand gesture of victory sign.
“Asit Kumar Modi has been ordered to pay me my due amount and an additional compensation for deliberately withholding my payment, totalling around Rs 25-30 lakh. An extra Rs 5 lakh is imposed on Mr Modi for harassment. The verdict was out on 15th Feb 2024, but I was asked not to share it in the media,” Jennifer Mistry told E-Times.
However, the former Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actress also claimed that she has not received her pending dues as of now. She further expressed disappointment and said that no punishment has been given to the show’s Project Head Sohail Ramani and executive producer Jatin Bajaj.
