An upcoming film, Pan Nalin’s ‘Angry Indian Goddesses’ has taken a leaf out of Katrina's life.
The film is about 7 girls who come together for a bachelorette in Goa that changes their life forever. Amongst them, one of the girl is from UK who is trying to make inroads in the industry. The film mildly traces Katrina's journey and her struggles while narrating this character’s story.
Says director Pan Nalin, "Katrina is a hugely successful star in India and when we wrote the movie one particular character seemed to be perfect inspiration from her life. Even though we haven't shown the whole journey of Katrina, we surely were inspired to have Amrit play the role of a London migrated girl to India.
