Drake’s son Adonis turned 7 on October 11. To celebrate the occasion, the 37-year-old rapper hosted a SpongeBob SquarePants-themed party for his little one. Sharing a glimpse into the celebration, Drake shared a post on Instagram. It featured the rapper with the birthday boy. In the first image, Drake and Adonis looked directly into the camera as the rapper put his hand on his son’s shoulder. They were standing against the backdrop of Bikini Bottom, which included the cartoon show’s recognisable flower-shaped clouds, pebbles, bubbles and jellyfish. Even a sports field was featured in the background, with SpongeBob-style typography that stated, “Adonis’ 7th Birthday.” The second picture showed the father-son duo flashing big smiles to the camera. The note attached to the post read, “Big Don.”
In another post, Drake shared some solo snapshots of Adonis. The kid was seen playing with balloons, jumping in a bouncy house, kicking a football and playing arcade games. One monochrome picture also showed him posing with Drake. The caption on the post read, “Baby goat you are different.”
In June, Drake shared a set of photos with Adonis as well as his own father Dennis Graham. The first picture featured the three standing side by side. Another one showed them inside a car as Drake clicked a selfie. In the caption, Drake wrote, “Three generations. Happy Fathers Day to the ones guiding their daughters and sons.”
Drake shares Adonis with French artist Sophie Brussaux. The duo has been co-parenting Adonis ever since his paternity was confirmed in 2018. The father-son duo is frequently spotted attending NBA games when Adonis visits Drake in Toronto and Los Angeles. Meanwhile, Adonis has begun to follow in his father’s footsteps. He made his musical debut with a rap song titled My Man in 2023, which he performed at his 6th birthday party.
Adonis also appeared in a few of Drake’s music videos and even created the album cover for For All The Dogs for his father.
