Ileana D’Cruz was recently asked during an Ask Me Anything session whether she has had work done on her face. The actress fielded the question with a curt reply, denying have done any cosmetic alterations. One Instagram user asked, “Have you had any surgery for aesthetics?” Ileana replied with, “Nope,” scrunching up her face.
Ileana has spoken about her body image issues in earlier interviews. She has talked about working on accepting her ‘beautifully flawed’ body for a while now. She told Mumbai Mirror in 2020, “Acceptance is something that I have been working on for some time now. That post reflected by state of mind then. I have been working out a lot at the time, keeping myself healthy, physically and mentally.”
Ileana was also asked to define what love means to her, the sort of people she likes hanging out with. She was also asked her boyfriend’s name, which she responded with a picture with her dog Charlie.
Ileana has fielded questions about her relationship status time and again. In 2020, a follower had asked Ileana, “Are you single or in a relationship?” She replied, “Well, aren’t we nosey?” The actress was in a relationship with an Australian photographer Andrew Kneebone, but the couple reportedly split in 2019.
Ileana will soon be seen in Unfair N Lovely, a comic take on India’s obsession with fair skin. Set against the backdrop of Haryana, the film chronicles the story of a dusky girl, and will feature Ileana opposite Randeep Hooda. The film marks the directorial debut of screenplay writer Balwinder Singh Janjua.
