Hrithik Roshan promotes Rustom on Twitter, Akshay Kumar returns the favour

It is a crucial weekend ahead with two of the biggest films clashing at the Box Office. And while Akshay Kumar's Rustom is being promoted not just by the film's lead cast, the makers have also roped in big Bollywood stars to do a countdown to the film's release. Meanwhile Hrithik Roshan, newcomer Pooja Hegde and Ashutosh Gowarikar are traveling the length and breadth of the country promoting their period saga- Mohenjo Daro.

While there are much speculations on how Hrithik is miffed with a few actors from the film industry for promoting Akshay Kumar's film and not his, both the actors have maintained a dignified silence on the imminent clash that is set to occur on the 12th of August. But on Monday, Hrithik decided to promote his film as well as Rustom in one single tweet. The actor tweeted,

Now, extended weekends have seen two big films releasing together before. But in most cases, the competition has been stiff between the lead actors of those particular films.
