Sushmita Sen recently attended an award function in Mumbai with her brother, Rajeev Sen. Post the event, the proud actress walked the red carpet with her award and posed for the shutterbugs. She even invited her brother to join and pose for the photographs. She introduced Rajeev to the paps, saying, “Have you seen my brother, everybody.”

For the occasion, Sushmita Sen was seen wearing a bright red gown, while Rajeev sported a casual look in denim and a black printed T-shirt. This moment was captured on camera. A video of the brother-sister duo posing on the red carpet surfaced online. In no time, fans rushed to the comment section and showered love.

Sushmita Sen and Rajeev Sen indeed share a deep bond. They are often seen encouraging each other’s work. Last year, Rajeev took a nostalgic trip down memory lane, sharing childhood photos with his sister on Instagram. The post featured young Rajeev and Sushmita posing with their parents. In the caption, he wrote, “Guess who? Sen family…Little Rajeev…Little sush..With Ma & Papa.”

Coming back to the award event, Sushmita Sen also crossed paths with Kajol. They stopped to have a quick chat at the event. The actresses were also seen hugging each other.

Sushmita Sen commemorated the 30th anniversary of her Miss Universe win by sharing a nostalgic post on social media. Taking to Instagram, she posted an old photo from the memorable day, May 21, 1994, when she made history as the first Indian to win the Miss Universe title. The image captures Sushmita cradling a youngster, with her Miss Universe sash on.

She wrote, “This little girl, who I met in an orphanage, taught an 18 yr old me, life’s most innocent yet profound lessons, ones that I live by to this day. This captured moment is 30 yrs old today as is India’s first ever Victory at Miss Universe!!! What a journey it’s been & continues to be….Thank you India for always being my greatest identity & strength!!” she conclude her emotional post stating, “To all my loved fans, friends, family & well wishers around the world…know that, each one of you has made a difference to my life & inspired me in ways you may never know!! I feel the love!!! Thank you!!!.”

Sushmita Sen was last seen in Aarya – Antim Vaar, the final installment of her Disney+ Hotstar series. The event also included Ila Arun, Sikandar Kher, Indraneil Sengupta, Vikas Kumar, Maya Sarao, Geetanjali Kulkarni, Shweta Pasricha, Viren Vazirani and Pratyaksh Panwar among others.
