After earning critical acclaim for his TV show POW: Bandi Yuddh Ke, filmmaker Nikkhil Advani is once again set to return to the television world with a new series, set in 15th century India. The director, who is currently in Goa to attend the 11th edition of NFDC Film Bazaar, exclusively told News18 that it’s going to be a massive show, which will have drama, action and love.
“I’m in very advance talks with NFDC for my new show. I’m glad that NFDC has taken the onus of working hand-in-hand with filmmakers to facilitate and ease the process of working within India especially when you want to shoot in historical monuments. So, we’re in the process of announcing a show which is based on 15th century India,” Advani said.
He added, “It’s a massive show in a sense that it’s historical and is going to have a lot of drama, action and love. I’m very influenced by Game of Thrones so the interesting part of this particular show that it’s based on real life historical characters but a little Masala has been added to that.”
