Sushmita Sen took to Instagram to share an unseen photo from her gym routine. In the post, she is seen looking away from the camera, showcasing her well-toned figure while gripping the workout equipment and showing off her biceps and chiselled back, which is a fitness goal for many. The actress is currently basking in the success of her series Aarya, but she was on a break for eight long years before that. Speaking about it, she told Pinkvilla, “None of the scripts that came to me were exciting, no work came to me that was outstanding, so maine chod diya and 8 saal kaise nikal gaye pata hi nahi chala because I became a mother for the second time and Alisah came in and she took up all my time.”

The final season of her series, Aarya Antim Vaar, premiered on Disney+Hotstar on February 9. The series, co-directed by the accomplished filmmaker Ram Madhvani and co-produced by Amita Madhvani, Ram Madhvani Films, and Endemol Shine India, featured an ensemble cast, including Sushmita Sen, Ila Arun, Sikandar Kher, Indraneil Sengupta, Vikas Kumar, Maya Sarao, Geetanjali Kulkarni, Shweta Pasricha, Viren Vazirani, Pratyaksh Panwar, Aarushi Bajaj, Bhupendra Jadawat, and Vishwajeet Pradhan. The series follows the journey of Aarya (Sushmita Sen), an independent lady who joins a mafia organisation to defend her family and exact revenge for her husband’s murder.
