Diljit Dosanjh and Kareena Kapoor in Jab We Met 2? Amar Singh Chamkila Star Presents EPIC Proposal
Diljit Dosanjh said he would love to work with Kareena Kapoor and Imtiaz Ali together. He even offered to star in Jab We Met 2.

Diljit Dosanjh offered to star in Jab We Met 2 with Kareena Kapoor. Diljit has often spoken about his admiration for Kareena. The duo has worked together in three films — Udta Punjab, Good Newwz and recently released Crew. He even compared her with Rihanna and Beyonce at a recent event. On the other hand, Diljit recently worked with Imtiaz Ali. The Punjabi actor-singer collaborated with the filmmaker for Amar Singh Chamkila and has been all praise for Imtiaz ever since.

Given his admiration for both, Diljit was put in the spot in an interview with Anubhav Singh Bassi for Netflix India wherein he was asked if he could pick one, who would he worked with again — Kareena or Imtiaz. Instead of choosing one, Diljit proposed a counter idea to Bassi and Imtiaz, who was also a part of the interview. Diljit said that he can work with Imtiaz and Kareena in a possible sequel of Jab We Met.

“I would choose both. Maybe we can make Jab We Met 2! What a great film it was. It was a beautiful film," Diljit said. His answer left Imtiaz in splits. Watch the video below:

Diljit also fanboyed over Imtiaz’s film Rockstar. He said he was a massive fan of the Ranbir Kapoor starrer. However, Imtiaz said that he has criticised the film and even called the film ‘flawed.’ He said, “The way your criticise yourself, no one else does it that way. I have fought with Rockstar fans. They got upset that how dare I say that there was some fault in the film. Like once, I said that it was a flawed film."

The Punjabi singer disagreed with him. When Imtiaz explained, “There were a lot of things in that film that were not okay" but Diljit disagreed. “No, no, no," he said after which Imtiaz chose to drop the subject. “If a poet starts sharing his thoughts behind the poetry they wrote, it would be wrong. People have their different interpretations," Diljit said.
