Dhanush Paternity Row: No Identification Marks as Claimed by Elderly Couple
Actor Dhanush was dragged to court by an elderly couple who claimed Dhanush is their son.

Actor Dhanush was dragged to court by an elderly couple who claimed Dhanush is their son. On February 28, Dhanush appeared before the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court to get an identification mark verification test. The elderly couple claimed that their son had a mole on left clavicle bone part and a scar of the left elbow. Dean of the Madurai Medical College (MMC) has submitted the medical report after examining the actor before the court on a sealed envelope.

CNN News 18 has accessed the report submitted by the Dean of MMC. It says: “There is no mole over the left collar bone and there is no scar in left elbow. It is possible to remove a small superficial mole completely but a scar cannot be removed by plastic surgery and only scar reduction can be done. A very small superficial mole removed by laser technique without any trace, A removed larger mole that traces can be seen by Dermascope but a scar cannot be removed by modern plastic surgery. Only scar reduction can be done.

Actor Dhanush had earlier refuted claims made by the elderly couple. He also raised suspicion that the couple wanted to extract money from him and hence allege that they are his biological parents.

The transfer certificate submitted by the elderly couple mentioned the identification marks of actor Dhanush. The TC also mentioned that he did his schooling up to 10th standard in two schools in Melur district. Dhanush, too, presented his birth certificate and transfer certificate of his schooling in Chennai but the TC submitted by Dhanush did not have any of the identification marks which he has.

The elderly couple had moved the court claiming that their son (Dhanush) was rought up in Madruai till 2002 and moved to Chennai to pursue a career in acting. They claimed that Dhanush’s real name is Kalaiselvan. The couple also requested the court to direct the actor to pay Rs.65,000 per month.

Dhanush had in November 2016 filed a petition before a judicial magistrate court at Melur to quash the case filed by the couple but the the court refused to budge. Now with the medical report making it clear that the identification marks mentioned by the couple does not match, it is a breather for the actor who had from day been on a denial mode.
