Marvel fans are waiting with bated breaths for the release of Deadpool 3, now titled Deadpool and Wolverine. Not only did the trailer whip up a positive response from viewers, but it also broke the record for the most-viewed movie trailer within 24 hours. According to reports, the third sequel of the superhero franchise received over 365 million total views surpassing the trailer of another Marvel movie, Spiderman: No Way Home. Deadpool and Wolverine will premiere theatrically on July 26.
According to a report by Disney, Deadpool and Wolverine’s trailer exceeded the views of the 2021 Jon Watts directorial Spiderman: No Way Home, featuring Tom Holland in the titular character alongside Zendaya and special appearances by Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield. The Super Bowl match clocked 123.7 million viewers earning the label of the most-viewed telecast of all time. The NFL game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers witnessed the highest number of people watching the broadcast. Taylor Swift’s attendance at the game contributed to the factor too. The singer cheered for her partner Travis Kelce and his team, the City Chiefs.

Deadpool and Wolverine’s trailer shows Wade Wilson/Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) celebrating his birthday with his family, moments before he is whisked away by the Time Variance Authority. While Reyolds’ epic one-liners once again bring back fond memories of his witty character, viewers were also treated to a blink-and-you-miss glimpse of Logan/Wolverine (Hugh Jackman). While Jackman’s face is not unveiled, his evident silhouette has generated excitement among fans. The trailer concludes with a showdown between Deadpool and Wolverine where the latter’s retractable claws become visible leaving the audience intrigued.
Deadpool and Wolverine also star Matthew Macfadyen, Emma Corrin, Leslie Uggams, Rob Delaney, Karan Soni, and Morena Baccarin in important roles.
