Darshan Thoogudeepa’s Manager Dies By Suicide Amid Renuka Swamy Murder Probe, Note Recovered
In his suicide note, Darshan Thoogudeepa's manager opened up about feeling lonely and allegedly mentioned that he is taking full responsibility for his act.

Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa’s manager, Sridhar, has allegedly died by suicide. On Tuesday, the Times of India he was found dead at the actor’s Bengaluru farmhouse. Reportedly, a suicide note has also been recovered along with a video message by Sridhar.

In his suicide note, Sridhar opened up about feeling lonely. He reiterated the same sentiments in his video and also clarified that he is taking full responsibility for his act. Police officials have now launched a probe into Sridhar’s death case.

This comes at a time when Darshan is being probed for his alleged connection to the Renuka Swamy murder case. Swamy was found dead at Sumanahalli Bridge in Bengaluru on June 8, 2024. He used to reportedly work at an Apollo Pharmacy branch in Chitradurga. Reportedly, Renuka used to send vulgar messages to Kannada actress Pavithra Gowad, a friend of Darshan. Angry about this, Renuka Swamy was murdered and his dead body was allegedly thrown in a canal at Kamaksshipalya, Bengaluru in front of Darshan.

Reportedly, eight of the accused have implicated Darshan, claiming his presence during Renuka Swamy’s assault. Darshan was arrested by the Bengaluru police from Mysuru on June 11 following which he was sent to 6-day police custody.

15 people have been arrested in the case so far including Darshan and his close actress-friend Pavithra. Most recently, Darshan’s co-star Pradosh and close aide Nagaraj were also arrested.

Last week, it was revealed that Renuka Swamy died of shock and haemorrhage. Reportedly, the autopsy report found 15 wounds on his body including marks on the head, abdomen, chest and other parts. It also suggested that Renuka Swamy’s head rammed a mini truck which was parked in a shed in Bengaluru.

Prior to this, Karnataka police officials also claimed that Renuka Swamy was beaten with sticks by Darshan and his aides, who then allegedly threw him against the wall, which led to his death. “It was Pavithra who instigated Darshan to punish Renukaswamy. Accordingly, the plan was hatched,” sources said.
