Bigg Boss Marathi Season 5, hosted by the actor Riteish Deshmukh, has commenced streaming on Colors Marathi at 9 pm and Jio Cinema. The contestants include Indian Idol winner Abhijeet Sawant, actress and former Bigg Boss Hindi contestant Nikki Tamboli and others. Model and actress Irina Rudakova has also taken part in this reality show. She has also worked as a cheerleader for the Sunrisers Hyderabad team in the Indian Premier League. She attained the limelight during her stint as a cheerleader in this cricket tournament. Irina originally hails from Russia and has been living in Maharashtra, India for many years now. She shares a profound love for India. Being a native of Maharashtra, she loves Marathi, has learned this language and is also trying to speak it. She is counted as one of the solid performers, dancers and actresses.
Irina also won the viewers’ hearts by telling rapper, poet and songwriter Aarya Jadhao in the Bigg Boss House that she observes the 12-day Ekadashi fast. The Sunrisers Hyderabad cheerleader told the rapper that she suffered from some pain for the initial 2 days of the fast. However, she said that the difficulties subsided after that. Aarya was impressed with Irina’s revelation and appreciated that she observed these fasts even though she was not an Indian citizen.

Irina made her debut on television with her acting stint in the daily soap Choti Sarrdaarni. Initially, this television serial received positive reviews from viewers but then received scathing criticism from the critics. Many of the audience opined that this show follows a predictable storyline. Some also pointed out the overacting of Choti Sarrdaarni’s cast. A few users were also of the opinion that the show didn’t have the same entertainment quotient without the actor Avinesh Rekhi.

Irina is also an extreme fitness trainer and a professional Yoga trainer.
Apart from Irina, the names of other contestants include Nikki Tamboli, Paddy Kamble, Shubhankar Tawde, Manasi Naik, Abhijeet Sawant, a small-time political leader Ghanshyam Darade and others. Ghanshyam shot to popularity 10 years back when one of his videos of speaking like a political leader had gone viral on social media.
