Ankita Lokhande’s Bigg Boss 17 journey wasn’t easy. In Salman Khan’s show, she had several major fights and arguments with her husband, Vicky Jain. The actress was often also accused of being possessive towards her husband and insecure about his friendships with co-contestants. Meanwhile, Vicky was often called a ‘red flag’ on social media by the show’s fans. Ankita recently spoke about this in an interview.
She told Instant Bollywood, “No no, it’s just ek perception hota hai logo ka. Mujhe lagta hai jo red flag aur red flag wali baat hai, my husband is a green flag to me. Chaahe kuch bhi hua ho, humaare jhagde hue ho… jaise voh kehte hain na, edit main kya cheez ghoom jaati hai voh dikhti nahi hai. Aap mile ho Vicky se, aur mujhe pata hai what is my husband to me and my family. That’s all that matters.”

Vicky’s parties with Ayesha Khan and Sana Raees Khan while Ankita was still in the show went viral. Ankita’s fans weren’t too happy with Vicky. When asked if Ankita had met the two Bigg Boss 17 contestants, she said, “Yes, yes. I’ve spoken to everyone. We have partied together. Zabardasti ka haua bann gaya hai yeh partiyon ka. Kabhi kabhi apne aap pe hi lagta hai ki kyu main aisi cheeze karti hoon. Sometimes it goes wrong for Vicky. Sometimes it goes wrong for him from my side. I’m really regretting that. Sometimes these over reactions and emotions are not healthy.”
Ankita and Vicky entered the Bigg Boss house together in October 2023. Both of them were also a part of the finale week. While Vicky was eliminated during the week as a part of a surprise eviction, Ankita was the third runner-up. The show was won by Munawar Faruqui.
