Actor Allu Arjun, who won the National Award for Best Actor last year for Pushpa: The Rise, has taken to Instagram to congratulate all the winners of the 70th National Film Awards 2024. He extended his heartfelt wishes to Rishab Shetty, who won the Best Actor award this year for Kantara 2, and his longtime friend Nithya Menen, who shared the Best Actress award with Manasi Parekh for their performances in Thiruchitrambhalam. Allu Arjun also congratulated the teams of Karthikeya 2 and Aattam, the Telugu and Malayalam films that won big at the awards.
He wrote on Instagram Stories, “Congratulations to all the National Award winners. I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to Rishab Shetty Garu for the well- deserved Best Actor award. I am also happy to see my longtime friend, Nithya Menen Garu, receive the Best Actress award. My best wishes to all the other National Award recipients.”
In a separate post, he added, “Hearty Congratulations to Nikhil garu, Director Chandoo Mondeti garu, and the entire team of #Karthikeya2 for winning the National Award for Best Telugu Film.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun is currently shooting for Pushpa 2: The Rule. While everyone is eagerly waiting for the movie, it has now been reported that the Telugu star will soon be travelling to Sri Lanka to shoot certain action sequences for the Sukumar directorial. As reported by E-Times, after wrapping up the Hyderabad shoot, Allu Arjun and his Pushpa team will visit jungles in Sri Lanka for the shoot.
“In the month of September, the shooting for the film will move to the jungles of Sri Lanka with many scenes of Allu along with his gang members and other characters being shot there and also few action portions,” a source cited by the entertainment portal claimed.
