She has a massive fan base with remarkable performances in films like Premam, A Aa, Sathamanam Bhavati, Hello Guru Prema Kosame, Maniyarayile Ashokan, Kurup, and Karthikeya. Anupama also knows how to make heads turn with her sartorial choices. She recently treated fans to her pictures in a blue georgette-printed pre-draped saree. The backdrop blended seamlessly with the pictures. She opted for glowy makeup and a shade of pink lipstick and further accessorised her look with earrings. She added the track Dil Se Dil Tak sung by Laqshay Kapoor, Akashdeep Sengupta & Suvarna Tiwari to the pictures. Sharing the pictures on Instagram, Anupama wrote in the caption, “An ocean is everything I want to be”.
Fans were left drooling over the pictures and dropped heart emoticons in the comment section.
Anupama dominated the headlines for her recently-released film Tillu Square, the sequel to DJ Tillu, which opened to a positive response from the audience. Mallik Ram has directed this film. The Karthikeya actress plays the character Lilly Josef in this sequel. During the launch of the song Oh My Lily, she faced questions about her bold character choices. She expressed her thoughts clearly and responded without hesitation. “At the age of 19, I acted in films like A Aa and Premam. Now I am 29, so I have to explore different characters,” she said.
“Even when I play similar roles, both journalists and the public ask me whether I should stick to the same kind of roles. When I take roles like Lily, you again ask why I decided to do them. What should I do? Just stay at home?” she countered. Anupama further added that she is always looking forward to experimenting with different roles in films.
Anupama Parameswaran is looking forward to films DV3, JSK, and Mareechika. Her film Mareechika is in the post-production stage and written by Lakshmi Bhupala. Regina Cassandra and Viraj Ashwin have also joined the star cast of this film produced by One More Hero Productions.
