Met Gala 2024 After-Party Look: Kendall Jenner Proves White Is The New Orange
What do you think of Kendall's Met Gala after party looks, goals or absolute goals?

As the Met Gala 2024 drew to a close, it wasn’t just the main event that had tongues wagging; it was also the spectacular after-party, graced by none other than Kendall Jenner. A Met Gala regular and a fashion icon in her own right, Kendall Jenner made sure that the after-party was a memorable affair. She caught attention with not just one, but two breathtaking white dresses that showcased her impeccable style and flair.

Kendall’s first dress was nothing short of angelic. She selected a stunning piece from Givenchy’s Haute Couture Spring Summer 1997 collection, originally crafted by the legendary Alexander McQueen. The dress features a white leather corset adorned with feathers, paired elegantly with a flowing skirt made of white silk satin chiffon. With minimal jewellery and white pointed heels, Kendall allowed her supermodel attitude and confidence to take centre stage, commanding attention with every step.

Her second ensemble, a lace mini dress, hails from the shelves of luxury designer Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood. It features a bespoke gold silk Duchesse corset with a plunging V neckline, embellished with delicate beaded lace and boasting bell sleeves and scalloped edging. This is elegantly paired with a matching lace mini skirt and complemented by a mini handbag in ivory silk moire. To complete her look, she chose white Jimmy Choo pointed heels and diamond studs from Lorraine Schwartz.

In both looks, her makeup was expertly applied by Makeup Artist Mary Phillips, while Hair Stylist Tamás Tüzes skillfully allowed her luscious wavy locks to cascade freely down her back.

For the Met Gala’s red carpet, Kendall opted to wear a never-seen-before Givenchy gown from the 1999 collection, originally designed by Alexander McQueen. The form-fitting dress was adorned with black and brass beads and sequins. It also boasted a sheer torso panel, plunging neckline and statement shoulders embellished with long gold beaded tassels. Reportedly, her dress featured over 100,000 black and brass beads, meticulously hand-embroidered over 500 hours. To complete her ensemble, she accessorised with custom Studio Amelia shoes and Lorraine Schwartz diamond jewellery.

The theme of this year’s Met Gala, Sleeping Beauty: Reawakening Fashion, centred on the timeless connection between nature and beauty.
