Ever since the paparazzi started clicking Bollywood celebs at airports, airport style has become 'the thing' among stars. Airports have become the new runway for celebrities to flaunt their attires and others to take fashion inspiration. In fact, airport fashion is such a big thing that celebs go that extra mile to get the right look.
In a way, it can be seen as an opportunity for artistes, who are otherwise spotted in embellished gowns, dreamy outfits for movie promotions and interviews, to give a glimpse of their personal style. But not all celebs have a great personal travel style. While some opt to travel in vogue, others really don't care to be dressed in their best attires, for they have to spend hours in a closed vehicle up in the sky.
But there is one celebrity whose personal travel style or so to so airport style is spot on.
Deepika Padukone, who is often clicked to and fro at airports, is someone who has actually aced the airport look. Be it casual, chic or smart, Padukone can do it all and make it look absolutely effortless.
Recently, Padukone, who seems to be a big fan of the normcore off-duty style, was seen sporting a very easy and casual look at the airport. She was clicked wearing an oversized blush pink sweatshirt with skinny jeans. The actress completed her look with Nike sneakers and a large tote bag from Chanel.
Padukone is known to keep her airport style simple yet stylish. She is someone who you can expect to show up in the most stylish and fabulous of outfits even it is at the airport. In this picture, Padukone sported utmost basics - a white tank top tucked into a pair of skinny denims, a navy bubble bomber jacket and a pair of white Nikes - but looked unbelievably stylish. She finished the look with a grey Chanel Large Deauville tote bag and round, turtle framed sunnies.
Padukone sent hearts and pulses racing at Mumbai airport when she showed up in a smart black jacket, with love written in metallic red on it in capital letters, over a matching black short dress. The actress wore her colored hair centre-parted open and completed her travel avatar with knee-high boots and light pink lip colour.
Padukone had a fashion fantastic day when she showed up in an oversized hoodie that she paired with tulle skirt, both from H&M, at the airport. A sleek ponytail, Nike sneakers and her trademark Chanel tote added the finishing touch to her look.
Padukone sported a chill, feminist attire at the airport ahead of International Women's Day at the Mumbai airport. The actress was spotted wearing cool casuals while also making a strong and powerful statement with her Nike tee. She teamed her black t-shirt with military jacket to complete the look.
