YC Polls from Booth Level

TIRUPATI: Indian Youth Congress(IYC) returning officer P Dorai has said the organisational elections of the youth wing of the Indian National Congress will be held from the booth level. Speaking to mediapersons here on Sunday, Dorai, who is the returning officer for Tirupati, Rajampet and Chittoor Lok Sabha constituencies, said a pre-membership drive already began ahead of the Youth Congress organisational elections.It will go on for three weeks.Later, a membership drive will be taken up in January and February for 28 days. After that, voter lists will be prepared. Elections to the booth level Youth Congress committees will be held first, followed by Assembly, Lok Sabha constituency and State level committees.
