Woman storms into CMs room

ALUVA: The Police and personal staff of Chief Minister Oommen Chandy were taken aback when a woman with her two children stormed into the room where CM was taking breakfast at the Govt Guest House here on Saturday.Malathy with her two children met CM in his room, to seek his help for the treatment of her child. The CM heard her grievances and she left the room by 7.30 am when CM took his break fast. She waited some time outside the room reportedly for the reply of the CM.However, she turned violent when the personal staff of the CM prevented her from meeting the CM again. She with her children reportedly stormed into the room shouting at the staff. The CM immediately got out of the room. The police swung into action.Unfortunately, there were no women police in the Guest House premises. Police detained her for the WPC to take her into custody.But Ommen Chandy instructed the Police to leave her and directed no action should be taken against her.CI Praffulla Chandran, who was in the Guest House premises, told Express that the woman was mentally-challenged.She met the CM with the permission of the personal staff early. But she was found speaking loudly outside the room where CM was staying.
