Midnapore (West Bengal): A 32-year-old woman was allegedly gang raped and murdered by TMC activists in West Bengal's east Midnapore.
The victim was the wife of a CPM leader, who had fled from the village a long time back in the wake of alleged TMC domination.
The woman was allegedly fined 12 lakh rupees for her proximity to CPM and was later tortured when she refused to pay off. Her body was found hanging in a room inside her house.
Police has started an unnatural death case and no one has been arrested so far.
