Water reuse need of the hour

BANGALORE: Several industries on Wednesday discussed strategies for water management and conservation for sustainable future. Organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Karnataka, industries like Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL), UB Group and Infosys Ltd gathered at the one-day conference held in the city. “We are witnessing water crisis. By 2050, the population will go up, as will the water consumption. Now is the right time to put water recycling and reusing mechanisms in place, lest we all suffer in the future,” said Aroon Raman, former chairman, CII Karnataka.
