Islamabad: Pakistan has sought from India voice recordings of the persons identified as 'handlers' by Ajmal Amir Kasab, the lone terrorist arrested for the Mumbai attacks, and other technical information to carry forward its probe into the incident.
The request for the voice recordings of Abu Hamza and Kahfa, identified as handlers by Kasab, is among the 30 questions submitted by Pakistan along with its response to the Indian dossier on the Mumbai attacks.
The response was handed over to India on February 12.
The queries, accessed by PTI, include a request for "authentic forensic analysis reports of mobile/satellite phones and any other evidence establishing connectivity and communication of the terrorists with militants based abroad, along with identifying particulars".
Pakistan has sought "detailed transcripts of conversation amongst the terrorists" and ‘with their handlers’ during the Mumbai attacks, which were carried out between November 26 and 28 last year. It has also sought "logs of cell phone interceptions".
There are also two questions seeking the forensic analysis of the Thuraya satellite phone and cellular phones used by the 10 terrorists who carried out the attacks.
Pakistan has sought details like the numbers stored in the memory of these phones and numbers that were called. It has also sought any photographs or audio recordings stored on the cellular phones.
In the case of Kasab, Pakistan has asked for an "authenticated copy" of his confessional statement as recorded by judicial authorities and ‘other documentation or diaries recovered from his possession’.
It has also sought mobile phone numbers ‘used by Ajmal in the past, if disclosed during interrogation’.
There is also a request for the detailed description and information provided by Kasab about the nine other terrorists who were killed during the attacks.
Pakistan has also sought the fingerprints and DNA profiles of all 10 terrorists involved in the attacks so that they can be compared with its available database.
There is also a request for the post-mortem reports of all the killed terrorists.
Pakistan has also asked Indian authorities for the photograph that was used by Kasab to identify Lashker-e-Toeba operative Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi.
Kasab has named Lakhvi as the mastermind behind the Mumbai attacks.
The Pakistani response also sought to raise questions over some of the data provided by India in its dossier.
While seeking GPS data to identify the "launching area" of the terrorist, it said "certain ambiguities have been noticed in the information already provided".
The Pakistani document said the lack of "date stamps" on some of the GPS data is "creating doubt whether these points are authentic".
Pakistan has also sought details of the interrogation of two Indian nationals arrested on the charge of providing phone SIMs to the terrorists involved in the Mumbai attacks.
