Vigilance week at NMDC

HYDERABAD: P K Misra, secretary in the ministry of steel visited the National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) on Tuesday and held discussions with Rana Som, chairman and managing director of the public sector giant and other directors.Misra was apprised of the company's expansion and diversification plans in both India and abroad.Meanwhile Vigilance Awareness Week is being observed at the NMDC from Oct 31 to Nov 5.Rana Som said vigilance was not a separate discipline in the organisation but every individual should act as a vigilance officer by virtue of his duties and responsibilities
