VHP to get temple issue to centrestage
VHP has approved an agenda for bringing the temple issue at the centrestage in the wake of Sachar committee's report.

New Delhi: Even as we marked the 14th anniversary of the horrific Babri Masjid demolition in December last year, the Ram temple issue refuses to subside.

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) is unwavering in its stand to build a Ram temple at the disputed sight.

They have now understood to have approved an agenda for bringing the Ram temple issue at the centrestage.

Besides that, the VHP is also chalking out a strategy asserting the interests of Hindus, particularly in the wake of Sachar committee's report recommending measures for uplift of Muslims.

At a meeting of 'Kendriya Margdarshak Mandal', the VHP on Monday night in Allahabad decided to send its recommendations to the 'Dharm Sansad' to be held in the city between January 16-17 for approval and chalking out of a concrete plan in this regard, VHP sources were quoted by new agency PTI as saying.

After approval of the agenda, the VHP would hold a 'Vishwa Hindu Mahasammelan' (World Hindu conference) in Allahabad from February 11 to 13 to put in action a blueprint of a movement in this regard, sources added.
