UP: Youth arrested for allegedly raping 6-year-old girl

Etah: A minor girl was allegedly raped by a 20-year-old youth in Hayatpurmafi village in the district, police said on Monday. The 15-year-old girl, who had came to the village to attend a marriage ceremony, was raped by the accused, identified as Devendra while she was slleping on the terrace, they said.

On hearing the cries of the girl, her family members rushed and caught hold of the accused and handed him over to the police.

A case has been registered against the youth on the basis of a complaint lodged by the girl's parents, police added.
