BANGALORE: Tension prevailed at the Bangalore Internatioal Airport when an unattended bag was found at the parking lot on Thursday morning. However, security checks revealed the bag contained a laptop.Police said that Manjunath, a security personnel, noticed an abandoned bag in the parking lot and alerted the control room. The anti-sabotage squad and sniffer dogs were pressed into service.Later, investigations confirmed that the bag contained only a laptop. The bag belonged to Muddukrishna, a senior statistician at University of Oman. He had come from Muscat to the city and while carrying the luggage in a trolley, the laptop bag had fallen.“After reaching home, he realised that the laptop was missing and returned to the airport. He confirmed his identity and collected his laptop,” the police added.
