These adverse remarks may open Iran to harsher UN sanctions as Western countries
suspect that it is secretly making atom bombs.
In a disclosure likely to alarm the West, the report says Iran's number of centrifuges enriching uranium had increased 10-fold in the past year.
Iran has so far been defiant of UN demands to suspend enrichment. It claims its nuclear plans are only for production of electricity.
