Two agricultural officers suspended

SANGAREDDY: Two agricultural officers who were found neglecting their duties were suspended. Medak district collector S Suresh Kumar issued orders to this effect on Wednesday evening.The collector toured in Peddasankarampet , Narayankhed and Kangti mandals and reviewed the functioning of various department on Tuesday.During this, farmers of the above three mandals complained that agricultural officers were not distributing seeds and fertilisers properly.He enquired about the same with the officials concerned.Surprisingly, the duo were absent to the collector’s programme also.Angered over this, the collector directed Chandrasekhar, agriculture department, joint director, to suspend Peddasankarampet ADA P Pratap and Kangti AO B Srinivas.
