Water levels in 13 reservoirs have risen dangerously high.
New Delhi: China's season of sorrow continues as a tropical storm Fengshen has brought heavy rains and floods to the southern manufacturing hub of Guangdong province.
Landslides have killed three people and the authorities have posted "orange" notices warning that water levels in 13 reservoirs have risen dangerously high.
The people have been alerted that the rising water levels could flood the adjoining communities.
Floodgates at some reservoirs are being lifted. Continuous summer rains and floods have killed more than 200 people.
The floods have also prompted the evacuation of around 1.7 million people since the beginning of this year's wet period.
