HYDERABAD: An attention diversion gang fled with 18 tola gold ornaments from a jewellery shop at Jeedimetla on Thursday.Two persons entered Ganshyam Jewellers at Shapur Nagar and asked the staff to show them gold ornaments. After going through many ornaments, they selected a gold chain and diverted the staff’s attention. They took away 180 grams of gold and fled from the place. A case has been registered.Body found in roomThe body of an unidentified person of around 45 years was on Thursday found in a store room at Indira Nagar in Banjara Hills. A local noticed foul smell from the room and found the decomposed body in it. Police suspect the body might be of a beggar who died a few days back.Man held for cheatingA person duped several youngsters under the pretext of providing jobs as Home Guards. Abhishek Reddy (25) of Dilsukhnagar set up APA Academy at ECIL crossroads 3 years back. He collected nearly Rs 3 lakh from three persons. Recently, he closed down the academy and went missing.
