BANGALORE: Around 70 Air India passengers who reached Bangalore sans their luggage from Mumbai on Tuesday evening in the Air Indian flight AI-607, had their luggage finally delivered only on Wednesday. While Air India officials had claimed that the luggage would arrive by the next flight on Tuesday night (at 11.45 PM), the same only reached the residence of the passengers last noon. Of the 118 passengers who reached Bangalore International Airport (BIA) at 7.30 pm on Tuesday evening, around 70 passengers had a rude shock when they realised that their luggage was missing. AI officials had claimed that there was a mix up at the Mumbai airport which is why the cargo was not loaded and they had assured passengers that their luggage would be delivered to their residences the same night.
